Florida State Parks

Silver Springs State Park Florida

Florida has many beautiful beaches, springs, and historical places waiting to be discovered. Here are some of our favorite Florida State Parks.

Silver Spring State Park – The water is so clear and beautiful! There are many springs in the area, and this one did not disappoint! You can take a boat ride and/or explore around on your own.

Falling Waters State Park – This park features Florida’s tallest waterfall which is why we visited. It was neat to see, but the amount of sinkholes was what really interested us after walking around the park.

Fort Pickens State Park and Gulf Islands National Seashore – (Yes, this is a national park with a state park, but they are adjacent, so we have decided to include them together here.) We spent multiple days going to these beaches. They are beautiful and undeveloped. Fort Pickens was a unique and educational experience. The cannons were neat to see.

Florida has many other amazing parks and places as well. Read more on Florida
